Park Honoring Local Woman to Open Next Week

Ever heard of Ribbon of Jewels?

It's the name given to several river-side parks honoring prominent local women in the Treasure Valley!

The new addition to these parks is the Esther Simplot Park on Whitewater Park Blvd. in Boise (next to Quinn's Pond).

There will be a grand opening celebration this Wednesday, November 2 at 1p. According to a facebook post dedicated to the grand opening, the park will feature: trails, ponds, docks, wetlands, boardwalks, shelters, grassy open areas, a playground, bridges and more.
