An 18 year old playing Pokemon Go has alerted police to a fire in Kuna.

KTVB says the young man was playing the new gaming sensation in an LDS church parking lot at 315 E. Deer Flat Road when he spotted two storage units on fire.

Unfortunately the storage units were full of items donated to Deseret Industries Thrift Store and the damage is estimated at around $23,000.

The donations were supposed to help the less fortunate in our community, but now it's all gone to waste.

The 18 year old playing Pokemon spotted two teenagers running away from the scene and called 911.

Authorities say the damage was minimized thanks to the quick 911 call. The two teenagers believed to have started the blaze have not been caught. If you have any information on this crime call the Kuna Police at 577-3860.
