This is definitely on my bucket list!

How about spending a weekend with your family in a yurt this winter!?! Well now you can!

Three of the six yurts north of Idaho City are now reopened after repairs from damage sustained during the Pioneer Fire.

According to the Idaho Statesman: "Rocky Ridge, Skyline and Stargaze yurts will be open to the public this winter. Reservations can be made beginning Sept. 20 by phone at (888) 922-6743 or idahostateparks.reserveamerica.com."

Two others, Banner Ridge and Elkhorn yurts, will hopefully reopen in the winter of 2018-2019, and the third one, Whispering Pines, which was completely destroyed in the fire, will be rebuilt in another location.
