Should Patriots Owner, Robert Kraft, Stay or Go?

Another scandal surrounding the New England Patriots franchise. and this time it has nothing to do with Tom Brady or a deflated ball. Nope. This time all eyes are on the team's owner, Robert Kraft.

According to KTVB, Kraft has been charged with "misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution after he was twice videotaped paying for a sex act." WHOA! The 77-year-old has been charged after a months-long investigation at what police call an "illicit massage parlor" called Orchids of Asia Day Spa in the town of Jupiter, Florida.

This investigation, according to KTVB, is part of a much more widespread crackdown on human trafficking all over the state of Florida. In the last several days, ten "spas" have been closed and hundreds of arrest warrants have been issued. There have even been arrests made for charges of sex trafficking.

Now, back to Mr. Kraft. His camp released a statement after the charges were announced (via KTVB):

[they] categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity. Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further

However, police confirm that there is video evidence of two occasions where Kraft is seen "paying for a sex act." Despite the charges, Kraft who is believed to be worth $6 billion, has not been arrested.

According to KTVB, more details about the investigation and his charges will be released next week. The NFL has weighed in on the issue saying they are "aware of the ongoing law enforcement matter and will continue to monitor developments."
