Do You Live In One Of Idaho’s Snobbiest Cities?
Idaho is arguably one of the best places to live. Do we experience crime? Sure. Do we experience unpredictable wildfires? Of course.
Do we have some unpleasant people living here? Every place has that... right?
How great is it to live in Idaho?
Look, there is plenty to love about Idaho, including the weather, food, sights, and, of course, the people! Whether you're at a farmer's market or exploring downtown Boise on the weekend, the people here are very nice overall.
All of that being said, bad stuff can happen anywhere and crummy people can live wherever they want to.
Now, most of the negative encounters with locals we've heard about or seen have come from comment sections. Occasionally, you'll see some words exchanged on I-84 between a local and someone with a California license plate.
That's why when we came across a report revealing the snobbiest cities in Idaho, we were somewhat surprised.
What makes someone "snobby"?
We found a report from RoadSnacks that developed a scoring system for "snobby" cities. Their factors include things like the price of a home in the area, the average income of the area, and "overly educated populations by city in Idaho."
Now, we know what you might be thinking: "Overly educated?"
We would agree with you that no such thing exists as we encourage our own kids to pursue knowledge as much as they can. BUT, we didn't invent this scoring system... we're simply the messenger and we can honestly say we're surprised by this report's "snobbiest city" in Idaho.
