Not long after, still 1916, a circus came through Mountain Home. A monkey decided to retire from his life in the circus and escaped. He was found later in the desert of Mountain Home, well after the traveling circus had moved on.

It quickly became 'The Easter House' to us due to the near neon yellow and electric green trim. A couple of weeks went by and we were walking by the street again but this time we noticed something extra special about 'The Easter House'.

We have had a blustery week here and to make the most of it, I cracked out the kites that have been hiding in the garage for months. Here are some other fun windy day activities for the Treasure Valley.

The tickets are $100 each and go on sale April 14th at 5am mountain time. Be ready because they are limited to 17,777 ticket sales this year. Last year the tickets sold out in hours. 100% of the ticket sales go directly to St. Jude and their life saving work.

Major Country stars are involved in this fundraising venture called "All Together for Animals" to help keep zoos going. Be a part of this massively fun and special virtual concert event. One of my favorite country artists of all time Brad Paisley will be headlining with Old Dominion, Ashley McBryde, Wynonna Judd, Riley Green, Jessie James Decker, Shy Carter, and more.

Now that we've sprung forward into Daylight Savings Time, we make our way towards St. Patrick's Day, and then it's Easter. One of the traditions that we've grown up with since childhood that was canceled last year is pictures with the Easter Bunny...

Eagle Bike Park has a ton more to offer that we didn't even check out. Not only this fun track for kids and BMXers but winding hillside mountain biking trails spreading out right above it. We could see dozens of bikers weaving in and out, up and down exploring and having fun.

Other fun outdoor and warmer places to visit since it's getting so beautiful here again in the Treasure Valley. It goes without saying unless you are new here and don't know about it. You've gotta explore The Greenbelt.

As the weather is warming up my sweet tooth is turning to craving something chilly and creamy. So where is the best ice cream spot in Boise and beyond? I turned to Google and Yelp to see what locals had to say and here is the ranking from 1st to 5th.

While we are getting closer and closer to spring here in the Treasure Valley we are just not quite there yet. If your little ones need a little more stimulation and excitement and if you need a break from constantly trying to entertain them then this list is for you.
