Now that we've sprung forward into Daylight Savings Time, we make our way towards St. Patrick's Day, and then it's Easter. One of the traditions that we've grown up with since childhood that was canceled last year is pictures with the Easter Bunny.

For children and malls, pictures with the Easter Bunny have become a fun tradition that puts smiles on kids' faces and store owners who see new customers checking things out. Last year, Easter was near the beginning of the entire country's shutdown. Unfortunately for kids and store owners, pictures with the Easter Bunny were not considered an essential business. Therefore the tradition came to an end at Boise Towne Square.

We were happy to learn that Boise Towne Square is bringing the Easter Bunny back to Boise for the 2021 Easter season. The egg-laying rabbit will be available for pictures beginning this Thursday and remain at center court until Saturday, April 3rd. Hours for the event are Monday through Saturday from 11 to 7 and Sundays from Noon to 6.

Last year's pictures with Santa took extreme measures to keep people safe from the COVID pandemic. It is unclear what precautions are being taken with the Easter Bunny. Still, according to the Boise Towne Square website, it will be a contactless, socially distant visit. They also warn that face coverings will likely be required depending on city and state regulations at the time of the visit. You have to reserve a time online to have your time with the Bunny.

Having the Easter Bunny back is another sign that things are finally starting to get back to normal in the Treasure Valley.
