Teacher of the Year from Caldwell

Of all the teachers in Idaho, she gets the top prize!

According to KTVB, Rebecca Mitchell , a teacher at Vision Charter School in Caldwell has been recognized as Idaho's 2018 'Teacher of the Year.'

Mitchell-who has been teaching for 20 years- was given the award in a surprise ceremony yesterday.

Not only will she get $1,000, she'll also travel around the state talking to different "teachers, legislators and policymakers about education issues," AND even head to Washington D.C. to meet the president!
