WOW Country listeners shared their stories this morning with Rick and Carly about the coolest "Awww Yeah" moments where kids, teams, parents, and coaches all showed extra special acts of sportsmanship.

One of our favorites was about 11 year old Zachary Eckhardt.  Zachary has Aspergers (a high functioning form of Autism) which affects his gross motor skills which makes it harder for him physically.  Zachary was playing on the 5th and 6th grade basketball team at St. Mark's Catholic School.  He hadn't scored a single basket the whole year.  The very last game, Zachary's teammates passed the ball only to Zachary and did everything they could to help this young man get his basket.  When that moment finally came, the gym erupted and Zachary, along with his family had a moment they'll remember for the rest of their lives.  You can see Zachary's basket below.  Dozens of stories came in about so many great people stepping up in great ways.

We have amazing people here in The Treasure Valley doing amazing things every day.  We've said it before and we're saying it again... we're all very lucky to live here.
