
Treasure Valley Summer Camps for Kids
Summer is right around the corner...the warmer temperatures, the fun in the sun, and oh dang, who's gonna watch the kids?!? Gah, now that I'm a stepmom I totally understand what parents go through when summertime rolls around. Luckily, here in the Treasure Valley, there are a lot of summer camps available to help you and your family out AND the best part? The kids will actually be having some fun!
Here are just some of the many summer camps and activities that are avaialable around the Treasure Valley:

This program is for kids ages 5-14, and offers them developmentally appropriate physical activities like soccer, tennis, basketball, rock climbing, mountain biking, even Quidditch!
The camp is offered in two 3-week sessions. Session 1 (June 11-29), Session 2 (July 9-27) and held Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This program AMAZING and It's FREE*! The boys and girls club offers camps all over the Treasure Valley for incoming 1st-6th-grade students in the 2018-19 school year.
Memberships include: healthy and nutritious lunch and supper, arts and crafts, sports activities, technology activities, and a full afternoon of games and play with peers and positive adult role models.

The summer camps offered by YMCA are pretty awesome because they let you choose camps based on specific areas of focus like STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) arts, music, and more!

The Nampa Parks and Recreation Departments actually offers a Kids in Action Day Camp year-round, but starting June 11, their Summer program kicks off with different activities, weekly dress-up themes, and even field trips for kids ages 5-12!
