‘Unhealthy’ Air Quality Alert in Treasure Valley

Sensitive groups should be aware!

According to KTVB the Department of Environmental Quality issued an 'Orange Quality Alert' for the Treasure Valley on Sunday due to the smoke from several fires in the region.

In Nampa and Meridian, however, it was elevated to Red Air Quality conditions (unhealthy for all groups) yesterday afternoon.

Hopefully the smoke will dissipate soon, but until then, officials from the DEQ suggest you limit your driving and time outdoors.
