We Need These 4 Popular Regional Fast-Food Chains In Boise
A bunch of HYPE about In-N-Out Burger is already here in the Treasure Valley, but what about other popular regional fast-food restaurants? Only some people, not including my wife, are excited about In-N-Out Burger coming to Boise and Meridian. Slacker compiled a list of the best regional fast-good chains to try, and 4 of these regional fast-food restaurants must be in the Treasure Valley.
On their list of The best regional fast-food chains out west is Taco Time which we have three in Boise, one in Meridian, and another in Nampa. I have yet to have Taco Time, but it reminds me of Taco Johns in the Midwest.
Two regional fast-food chains you haven't heard of unless you've spent some time near one of their locations, and that's Farmer Boys and Dicks Drive-In. Farmer Boys has over 100 locations throughout Arizona, California, and Nevada. I was always a big fan of their breakfast. They serve more than just breakfast, but their big thing is that they purchase their ingredients directly from local farmers and purveyors.
Dicks Drive-In is just that, with the same vibe as In-N-Out regarding its menu, it only has burgers, fries, shakes, and ice cream. They also pride themselves on having 100% real beef that's fresh and never frozen with hand-cut fries that are with potatoes from the Pacific Northwest.
The other two regional fast-food chains that need to come to Boise and the Treasure Valley are White Castle and Whataburger. Closer to the Oregon border might be a better place for White Castle, and I don't understand the hype around Whataburger, but I know some residents would prefer Whataburger over In-N-Out.
So when you're hungry on your next road trip, you should seek out one of these delicious 20 regional fast-food chains to enjoy!
