West Ada School Bus With 50 Kids In Head On Crash

This is why so many school districts keep shutting down school during this brutal winter we're having.  Safety for the kids is the #1 priority.

50 students were on board this West Ada school bus yesterday when a car slammed into it head on in the Hillsdale subdivision in Star.

The Cascade Transportation bus was driving students from Galileo STEM Academy and Eagle Elementary School of the Arts.  No students were injured.  Fortunately the bus driver and the driver of the car that lost control are fine as well.

Some kids were released on site to parents that showed up.  The rest were sent home on two back up buses that showed up shortly after the accident.
