If you want to get out of the house this weekend, have a little wine and good food, make the trip to Marsing on Saturday.

Saturday, May 6th, you can head to Marsing and check out "Wine and Art In the Park".
You can enjoy a glass of wine from one of several Sunny Slope wineries, craft beer from Crooked Fence, and all kinds of great food.

While you're enjoying a glass of wine or beer, and dining on everything from Tri-Tip to Kettlecorn, you can stroll through the park and enjoy the arts and crafts from nearly 40 local and regional artists and crafters.

The event takes place this Saturday, May 6th,  from 11am - 5pm at Marsing Island Park, on the banks of the Snake River.

It's a free event so you can bring the whole family, or...make it a "date day" with your special person, relax, sip a glass of wine, and check out the view of Lizard Butte.

Weather on Saturday says it may be a little cloudy, but the high is supposed to be near 70. You may want to take a light sweater or jacket, and maybe have an umbrella handy....just in case.

Get up early, get your yard work done, and then take the short drive to Marsing and enjoy a little southwest Idaho hospitality. You won't be sorry.
