Winter Driving Enforcement in Boise
For some reason when the weather gets worse, drivers in Idaho go FASTER! I don't really get it. Since I've moved to Idaho, I've noticed (because I'm a transplant) I drive way faster than the majority of people, but when there's snow on the ground I always drive grandma-style.
I'm super paranoid I'm going to go spinning into a ditch.
If you're super confident in your winter driving skills and like to be 'Ricky Bobby', you might want to slow down.
According to KTVB, the Boise Police Department has a group of officers that will be focused on "winter driving enforcement and education in an effort to try and curb the number of crashes they have seen in recent winters."
They'll be making contact with drivers, but not just to give you tickets....they want to warn you about driving cautiously during the winter months.
