Woman Runs Over And Kills Man In Nampa

69-year-old George Grant of Caldwell, Idaho was riding his bicycle on the shoulder of Highway 20 yesterday afternoon.  He didn't see anything coming.  He had no idea that these were the last moments of his life.

A 62-year-old woman was driving that very same stretch of Highway 20 at the very same time.  According to KTVB, she veered over partially onto the shoulder crashing into Grant, sending him and his bike to the ground.  How fast the woman was going, where exactly did she hit him, why was her car in that position... these are all questions being investigated right now.

Grant, who was not wearing a helmet, was immediately transferred to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.  Unfortunately, he soon after succumbed and died from his injuries.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
