Parents, need a night out but don't have a babysitter? Let Nampa Parks and Recreation help you! They're hosting a 'Lock In for Kids' event tomorrow (3/1).
Here's how it works:
Parents register their kids for the event HERE. Drop them off at the Nampa Rec Center at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 1. Kids get to watch movies, go swimming, play games and enjoy pizza. Then they enjoy a sleepover with their friends, and you pick up in the morning. The entire night, the kids will be in a safe environment with both male and female chaperones.
And with a price tag of just $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers, it's super reasonable!
It's Dr. Seuss week!! And if your kiddos are loving all the fun books, dress up days, and green eggs and ham, then here's the perfect event for you and the family.
The Discovery Center of Idaho is hosting their Dr. Seuss Day Bookdrive and Celebration on Saturday, March 2.
When you head to the Discovery Center, bring along new and used books. These will be donated to "Book in Every Home." which offers books to low-income children in the Treasure Valley.
