A man from Middleton, Idaho died in a crash Saturday night on Highway 17 while riding his motorcycle on the Banks-Lowman Road.  According to KTVB, for reasons unknown, he veered off the shoulder and then was thrown from the bike.

The Idaho State Police have identified the man as 28-year-old Michael Madison.  Madison was headed east on his Honda motorcycle and investigators are still looking for reasons as to why he lost control or what caused him to head off the main road.  Madison was wearing a helmet but unfortunately was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The 100 deadliest days on Idaho roads hits now, between Memorial Day and Labor Day.  The Idaho Transportation Department continues their campaign to see zero fatalities on Idaho's highways this summer.  With so many accidents and so many tragic deaths already, we have to step up now, be more aware, drive safer and do our best to help make our roads the safest they can be.  Some tips and guidelines to help us do that are below.
