20 Things We Know ‘Cause We Live Here

The Matador Network just posted a list of "20 Things You Probably Didn't Know About Idaho" for those people that have never been here, or those who confuse us with Iowa (how does THAT happen?)

There's nothing wrong with Iowa, I'm just confused how people can think the two states are the same.

When I looked at the list, I found myself going, "Yeah, I know that," but I've been blessed to have spent most of my life in Idaho. I lived in Utah, Colorado and Arizona as well, but always found myself coming back to Idowa...er...Idaho! The rest of the country can continue to confuse us, scorn us, envy us...whatever. I am proud of my Idaho heritage, and I don't mind telling people about it.
