24-years-old is far too young to die. This past weekend took the life of one of our own and this morning we grieve for the ones he left behind who are missing him so much.

Ricardo Lopez was driving west on North Perce Drive when as he approached Rayburn Street he went off to the right side of the road, overcorrected, went across both lanes and then rolled over to the left side of the road.

According to idahonews.com Lopez was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, which sealed his fate.

It's so easy to say "he should have buckled up." If you're thinking that, sure you are right, he should have; but how many times have You not buckled up? I know for me overall, I do a pretty good job, but I also catch myself justifying not buckling up by thinking "I'm just going down the street." That mentality is common and it can cost you your life. We all tend to think we are invincible until we are reminded that we are not.

Please keep this young man's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
