Yesterday morning a 4-year-old girl was pulled from Redfish Lake.  According to KTVB, people immediately jumped into action administering CPR, calling 911, and the authorities from the Custer County Sheriff's Office were quit on the scene but it was just too late.  By the time this girl was sent to St. Luke's Wood River Hospital in Ketchum and then transported to Boise Medical Center she was pronounced dead.

The other part of this story has some new developments today.  There was a man's boots spotted along the shore and an overturned kayak close by.  Using sonar, Idaho Fish and Game spotted what they believed to be a body about 55 feet below.  Dive teams went in for the body this morning and it has been recovered.

Who the man and the little girl are is confidential now while authorities properly notify the family.

Please use this as a reminder to think safety first while boating, kayaking, floating or any other type of water sports you're participating in this summer.  There's a family right now missing a man and a little girl and they'll never get them back.

Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation.  We'll keep you posted.
