When it comes to camping, some people just aren't made for it. Tent camping, for some, sounds like the worst idea. My wife is not a tent camper. She needs to have the amenities. Every day I find something new about Idaho that I didn't know before. Thanks to LoveExploring, who shared "Stunning spots to relax in your RV," I now know about Redfish lake, which made their list.

If you need to get more familiar with Redfish lake, it's in the Sawtooth National Forest. With RV sites steps away from the water, it's perfect for a summer trip to enjoy the beautiful blue water. The water is ideal for kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming along the smooth pebble beach, and if you have a boat, they have a ramp.

Don't have an RV? Don't you worry!

At Redfish Lake, they do have tent camping available as well. Pets must be on a leash at all times, and the maximum length for campsites is ten days. Redfish Lake is the largest lake in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. The headwaters of the Salmon River flow north to meet the Snake River and continue to the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean.

Don't have an RV, don't want to tent camp, but still want to enjoy the beautiful lake with the peaks of the Sawtooth Mountains in the background and the lush green forest?

Then you should check out the Redfish Lake Lodge. They have cabin rentals, suites/motel rooms, and lodge rooms available. Maybe we will see you there this summer?
