As a parent, one of the biggest fears you could face is not knowing where your child is. Ada County Sheriff's Office shared a scary statistic in a recent pose to social media that will send shivers down any parent's spine.
"According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, reports of online enticement increased by over 300% between 2021 and 2023," ACSO said in their post.
That's absolutely terrifying, but when you look at the contributing factors, it might continue to get worse.
What is contributing to the rise of online enticement?
