Some intense moments last night as crews battled a 7-alarm fire south of Lake Lowell.

Huge plumes of thick, black, smoke could be seen near the intersection of Deer Flat Road and Perch Road.

In the end, the fire burned two buildings, several boats and cars, and a haystack.

According to an article on KTVB, the blaze started from a farmer's control burn that got out of control.

It took crews about three hours to get the fire under control. No word yet on what the two buildings that were destroyed were. We have no idea if they were homes or places of business or if people have been displaced. A lot of people mourning the loss of their homes and boats thought this morning. See the shocking video below.

Overall, we're just very grateful to the first responders and we're extremely grateful that no one was hurt or killed. Let this serve as another word of warning to be super careful with fire this summer.
