With a year of all small venue, or virtual performances from artists, they were eager to put on a show again and we were eager to watch one. It may have been a little bizarre since there was not a crowed for them but with the polished stars they are, you cant even tell.

The opening with Luke Bryan’s “Rain Is a Good Thing” never sounded so comforting - especially for us on the west coast! YES bring on the rain!- I will forever love Blake and Gwen - Happy Anywhere

Eric Church had a powerful performance and paid honor to (one of my all time faves) Johnny Cash, Luke Combs was incredible, and no one can deny Thomas Rhett's talent and power. Can we just take a minute for Carrie Underwood though?

The Grand Ol' Opry House was boomed with her vocal talents. She is a true powerhouse and was very deserving of Entertainer of the Year.  Some people are not digging that there was a performer of the year tie with Carrie and Thomas both taking the title for the first time in ACM history having a tie for the top spot.

Another hot topic is Taylor Swift back on the ACM stage. I am a Taylor fan so I appreciated and enjoyed her performance, if you missed it check it out here:
