Is Idaho obsessed with aliens & UFOs?

With all the activity in the last couple of weeks, the Chinese spy balloon cruising across the United States and three more "unidentified objects" were also shot down. 

I will let you decide if this is something to be proud of, but Idaho is among the Top 10 States Most Obsessed with Aliens, according to bookies.com. 

Their methodology: "To calculate, we utilized Google Trends data from Feb. 4 (the date the Chinese spy balloon was shot down off the Carolina coast) through to Feb. 14. We looked at search queries by the state for specific terms (UFO, Aliens, Extraterrestrial Life) and then for each of the states we ranked the volume of those searches per capita averaged across those categories. More searches per person equaled more interest and a higher ranking in our study." 

Mark Strotman, the author of this article, pointed out a valid point, "the alleged Chinese spy balloon was spotted in Alaska, Montana, Missouri, and South Carolina. So it's fitting that Alaska (1st) and Montana (2nd) were looking up these terms more than any other states."
