Amy’s Pile: Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut On Dunkin’ Halloween Menu
Dunkin' is bringing the heat this Halloween. In addition to its usual Halloween offerings, Dunkin' debuted a new donut this year, because why not in 2020?
The donut chain dropped a new Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut to their menus on October 14th. They're billing it as the first "pepper-packed donut" to be served nationwide. The new treat is a classic yeast donut topped with strawberry-flavored icing that's mixed with both ghost pepper and cayenne pepper. Then it's topped with a dusting of red sanding sugar.
According to Dunkin' vice president of marketing strategy, despite having lots of spicy ingredients, the finished donut has just "a touch of heat." The new Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut is currently available at participating locations, but only for a limited time through December.
