It has not been the best year for us in Idaho when it comes to getting behind the wheel.  We've had way too many fatal accidents and last night we, unfortunately, lost another life tragically.

79-year-old William L. Brower was driving his 1997 Ford Expedition on I-15 heading northbound in the Fort Hall, Idaho area late last night when he veered off the left side of the freeway and crashed into the median, eventually slammed into the guard rail and flipped his vehicle.

According to East Idaho News, Brower was not wearing a seatbelt and did not survive the accident.  The Idaho State Police say the accident occurred sometime around 11 p.m. close to mile marker 83 which is just north of Fort Hall.  The Fort Hall Police Department, Bingham County Sheriff’s Office, and Idaho State Police all worked together on this but it the damage was just too much.  All roads have been cleared and Brower's family notified.  Please keep them in your thoughts during this difficult time.
