Christmas! A time of joy, celebration, and sipping on your favorite festive drinks. Now, if you happen to be from Idaho like me, you might be wondering, "What's the most popular Christmas drink here?" According to 24/7 Tempo, it's Mulled Cider! Now, I'll admit, I'd never tried Mulled Cider before.

Mulled Cider is traditionally made by heating apple cider with an array of spices such as cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg, sometimes sweetened further with brown sugar or honey. It's a harmonious blend of sweet, spicy, and oh-so-cozy that makes it the perfect companion for those chilly Idaho winter nights.

So even though I was a newbie to Mulled Cider, I am now a full-fledged fan. And I encourage you to give it a chance this Christmas too. But fair warning, once you've tasted this spiced delight, there's no going back. So, here's to a warm, cider-filled Christmas, Idaho-style!

The #1 drink throughout the country was a Poinsettia cocktail, which I had never heard of. It's a blend of orange liqueur, cranberry juice, and Champagne garnished with fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary. Variations include the addition of Grand Marnier or replacing Champagne with Prosecco. Its vibrant color and refreshing taste make it a popular choice for Christmas gatherings. I wouldn't drink this, but it's undoubtedly a popular choice.

My family and I would drive around looking at Christmas light displays with out favorite beverage when I was younger, and I would always choose peppermint hot chocolate. Now a hot mulled cider does the trick.
