Are There Still Shari's Restaurants in Idaho?

There has been a lot of drama surrounding Shari recently, with many stores closing in the Pacific Northwest. Michelle Heart shared some stories from last year about Shari's closing in Idaho. One in Nampa was evicted in October of last year, and they shut the doors just as fast at their location in Garden City in December. Shari's closed other locations in Lewiston, Idaho Falls, and Moscow.

Financial Troubles = No  Blueberry Sour Cream Pie

Shari's Management Corp has faced mounting financial troubles with reports of unpaid bills, marketing debts, and even construction work. The Idaho State Tax Commission filed liens totaling more than $200,000 against the company. That's more than 18,000 orders of their "fluffy buttermilk pancakes."

Key Lime Pie, Anyone?

Their Key Lime Pie is back for a limited time, but can you get it in Idaho? From breakfast to late night eats, Shari's has always been one of those places you could always count on to get food. They're open during holidays when other restaurants aren't. Is that the right business model? I don't know. I can tell you that even through the chaos of debt and shutting doors, Shari's Restaurant still has two locations in Idaho.

If you ever find yourself starving and need something to eat or soak up a night of adult beverages with friends, you can count on their Meridian location still being open and their location in Twin Falls. Enjoy some pie and a warm welcome.
