The trucking industry is about to change things up!  Trucking generates $700 billion dollars to the economy worth of goods and is increasing because retailers are offering free shipping.

The trucking industry has thousand of positions open, but often the job is difficult and turnover is high because of time away from home and family.  The industry wants to turn trucks into a mobile computer. This might attract millennials for the industry.  An 18-wheeler by Daimler earlier this year, for example, has an autopilot feature that can manage the truck's basic functions on long patches of highway, giving the driver some rest on monotonous routes.
