Boise Airport Finds 2 Guns In 1 Hour
Security Checkpoint at the Boise Airport was busy today. Not one, but two guns found in a matter of one hour.
TSA Officers are saying it was the same man who spotted both handguns in the X-Ray screener. The first was at 11:15 a.m. It was an unloaded Glock 9mm handgun in a carry-on bag with a man traveling to the Los Angeles International Airport. The second was a loaded Charter Arms Revolver which came through just a few minutes later. This belonged to a woman escorting a ticketed passenger who needed assistance.
Both have been cited with citations and could face up to a $7,500 fine from TSA. If you're counting, seven firearms have been found this year at Boise Airport security checkpoints.
