Boise Firefighter Rich Brown checked in today to talk about his annual trek in full fire gear up the stairs at the Columbia Center in downtown Seattle with all proceeds to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  There are 69 flights of stairs, 1311 steps, and 788ft of vertical elevation. Although it will be challenging, it pales in comparison to what blood cancer patients must go through and what Rich's good friend, Jason, endured in his final days.  Rich's goal this year is to raise $17,000 and he's close at about $12,000.  To help out Rich, check out his fundraising page here.
