Boise Goes Grim for Friday the 13th and Horror Festival This Week

It's always fun with Halloween and horror events fall on Friday the 13th. Luckily, we have a big one happening this week and all signs point to a haunt of a weekend.

The Idaho Halloween & Horror Convention (Idaho HorrorCon) will take over the Red Lion Hotel in Boise this weekend and we've got your Grim Reaping details.

Why a Halloween Event in August?

Why not? This HorrorCon event is jam-packed with events for everyone. Things begin on Friday with a special Haunt Tour and a Friday the 13th party. There is never really a bad time to celebrate Halloween. Here's a list of events happening this weekend.

Friday the 13 Party
Food Truck Rally
Special Effects Makeup Demos including classes
Horror Ball
Undead Buffet
Horror Film Festival
Plus, much more.

This event goes on all weekend with scary films beginning at 12:00 p.m. Some of these movies are 15 minutes up to 2 hours. These submissions have come from all over the world and will be shown this Saturday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Haunt Tour/Friday the 13 - This Party Is in the Woods and to Die For

Take the Haunt to a party at Nyah's Haunted Woods, a special food truck rally, and Friday the 13th Party. I was reading all the details and itinerary on the website and this looks like something from Michael Jackson's Thriller video. This looks fun and a link is below.
