Boise Police Handing Out This Instead of Tickets

If you've been pulled over recently you may have been pleasantly surprised to receive this instead of a ticket!

Boise Police are spreading the Christmas cheer with chocolate bars instead of tickets for minor traffic violations including speeding around the holidays.

According to KTVB officers have been throwing out a kind word of warning with the sweets; reminding drivers to slow down, wear their seat belts, clear their windshields, and not drive distracted!
