Boise Stabbing Victim Dies – Murder Charges Filed

Twenty-five year old Michael Ryan Downs is now charged with murder after the man he's accused of stabbing has died.

He was arrested back in January for stabbing a man at home near Windsong Drive and Toluka Way in the Boise Foothills.  Daniel Ridgeway was hurt badly, and now, three months later, he passed away.

The original charge was aggravated battery but prosecutors have now filed an amended complaint charging him with murder.
