This is one of those freak accidents that unfortunately ended in the worst of ways.  A family and an entire community mourn today after tragedy struck last night just after 6 o'clock on Robie Creek Road, two miles west of Idaho 21 in Boise County.

According to KTVB, there were two people in a 2004 Dodge Neon.  The driver and the passenger both had their seatbelts on.  Somehow this Dodge Neon lost control, found its way off the road flipped over and partially submerged in Robie Creek.

What the Idaho State Police found during their investigation is shocking.  No drinking, no drugs, no speeding or reckless driving... this whole thing came down to one little insect.  That's right.  It looks as if a wasp flew into the vehicle causing enough mayhem for the driver to lose control and now a child is dead.

I can't even tell you how many times something like this has happened to me and I know how freaky and crazy that few seconds of chaos is.  You roll down all the windows, try to shoo it out, and PRAY.  Most of the time we're all lucky and things end up okay but this was not one of those times.  I can't imagine what's going through the mind of who was driving.  I can't imagine the loss, the sadness, and the absolute low this family must be feeling right now.  My heart really goes out to them.

Authorities do not release information about the identities of victims when they're children and/or if the family has not been properly notified yet.  This family has been notified but there were people under the age of 18 involved in this tragedy so we cannot release names at this time.  We don't have information as to how the driver is doing or their condition yet.  We can only hope they're okay.  Please keep this family in your prayers.
