You know, people do some crazy and dumb things during the summer, and it can be for a variety of reasons: the heat getting people agitated, people having too much time on their hands, or maybe it's a combination of both.

Whatever the reason is, we now have another pair of suspects we have to be on the lookout for due to their recent alleged crimes.

The "Concession Stand Bandits" Strike Ada County

The Ada County Sheriff's Office shared a post asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects who have been accused of committing a series of break-ins at concession stands in Boise and Meridian.

"These incidents began in April, and detectives have exhausted all leads," the Ada County Sheriff's Office said in the post. "In mid-April, the suspects forced entry into the concession stand at the baseball fields at Lake Hazel Middle School."

"They stole items and caused significant property damage by kicking or prying the door open."

Since then, police say that they have been linked to several other break-ins that took place around the Treasure Valley. They cited three locations near S. Cloverdale Rd and W. Bott Ln, including a concession stand, a church snack shack, and a baseball field where they also "discharged a fire extinguisher inside."

Another concession stand they hit was at Discovery Park in Meridian, which is also being investigated by Meridian police.

I'm no detective, but based on the photos and the nature of the crimes, it certainly sounds like these are kids who are out of school for the summer with way too much time on their hands. Do you recognize them? If you do, law enforcement says to contact them on their non-emergency dispatch line at 208-377-6790, Deputy Montague at lmontague@adacounty.id.gov, or through Crime Stoppers at 343Cops.com.
