Deadly Hot Springs

One thing I'm really looking forward to this summer is discovering some of the hot springs nearby, but these stories serve as a good warning to be very careful!

There's a gruesome story coming out of Billings, Montana where 23 year old Colin Nathaniel Scott fell into a high temperature acidic spring. Authorities say the accident was so terrible that there were no remains to recover.

It reminds me of a tragic story from last summer where two dogs were killed after jumping into an Idaho hot spring. Their owner went in after them and was also severely burned.

Authorities issue a warning that when around hot springs you should follow park rules and don't cross over barriers or enter restricted areas.

On a positive note, Idaho does have some amazing hot springs that I can't wait to explore. Here's a list of the hot springs in the area that you may want to visit this summer, just remember to keep it safe!!
