Oh the weather outside is frightful, and the gas prices are...also frightful.

As we ramp up toward the holidays, money and finances are on everyone's mind. The last thing you want to hear while trying to figure out how to pay for Christmas presents is "Oh hey look, gas prices are going up." That's sadly the case.

According to GasBuddy.com, gas prices across the Gem State have risen an average of $0.07 cents per gallon, while the national average has fallen $0.035 cents. You'd think that gas prices always go up during the holidays, but in Idaho prices have varied greatly from year to year.

OPEC's continuing oil production cuts seem to be the cause of Idahoans paying more at the pump.
