Eagle Teen Accused of Sexually Assaulting 5 Girls and There May Be More
This 17-year-old stands accused of forcing himself on at least five teenage girls and police say there may be more victims.
Cory R. Campbell is being charged as an adult on five counts of sexual assault. According to an article on KTVB, it sounds like more than assault. He was arrested late last month on four felony counts of rape and one felony count of forcible penetration. Not sure what the difference is. The crimes were allegedly committed between September of 2018 and March of 2019.
According to the sheriff's office, the crimes were mostly committed in homes or in a truck within an Eagle/North Ada County neighborhood.
Campbell is said to have known all of the female victims.
Cory Campbell is currently sitting in the Ada County Juvenile Detention Center on a $250,000 bond for each of the five charges, which adds up to $1,250,000.
It is suspected that other young women may have fallen victim to Campell. If you or anyone you love may be a victim, please contact Detective Cherie Tucker at (208) 577-3744.
No means no and rape is never acceptable whether you are 17 or 77. Keep in mind that Campbell has not yet entered a guilty plea, but the odds do seem to be against him.
