It's Friday the 13th and there's some creepy stuff going on here in the Treasure Valley!!I'm a little creeped out by Friday the 13th. My great-grandfather who lived in Nezperce, Idaho died on Friday the 13th and my friends father died the same day 1985, Friday the 13th.

As I started delving into Friday the 13th in the Treasure Valley, I discovered there are lots of creepy places and superstitions hanging around the Boise area. Here's what you need to be aware of as you try to survive today!!

There's a ghost that lives in the Egyptian Theater downtown!

When the theater opened in 1927 they showed the film Don Juan. There was a projectionist that worked in the theater and died of a heart attack while climbing the stairs in the 1950's. His name is Joe and he's been known to open and close doors, turn lights off and on, and make lots of weird noises.

Spirits at the Fort Boise Military Cemetery

Unmarked graves give visitors the creeps. Spirits of children are said to be lurking in the cemetery and a woman who has also been seen at a nearby school is the favorite ghost of the cemetery.

Ghosts of the Old Idaho State Penitentiary

I've wanted to visit this place from the moment I moved here. Located at the base of the Table Rock Hike, there have been lots of flickering lights and uneasy feelings. Here's some footage of a ghost hunting at the penitentiary back in 2011.

Murder House at Boise State University

A brutal murder happened at this frat house back in 1987. Today blood stains reportedly appear on the walls and blinds open and close all by themselves!!

Urban Legends of Dry Creek Cemetery

Rumor has it that if you go to the edge of the cemetery near the canal any time between 2:15 am and sunrise you can hear a ghost horse running along the canal bank!
