How Rich Are We in Idaho?

How much do you make? How much do I make? Just how rich are we in the state of Idaho and how do we compare to the rest of the country?

Rick loves to embarrass me by openly asking people how much they make! I always turn beat red, because society says you just shouldn't go there! I will admit it's very interesting though and as he says, you'll never know unless you ask!

A new study by moneytips.com shows Idaho is in the lower half of the United States. People in 33 states have higher average incomes than we do in Idaho.

The average income in Idaho is $47,922.

If we look at the richest people in the state, the average income for the top 1% is $855,227

We may be on the poor side here in Idaho, but keep in mind that cost of living is also much cheaper than in major cities such as Los Angeles, New York City, and Washington D.C.
