You've heard the jokes about not sitting on a public toilet seat, but it's not a joke anymore. People who were on this bus have been exposed to Hepatitis A.

Those who traveled on a Greyhound bus on April 10th between Boise and Salt Lake City and who used the toilet on that bus need to be aware that they have been exposed to Hepatitis A.

If you believe you were exposed you are being asked to contact the Central District Health Department.

The good news is that apparently there is a vaccine you can get if you were exposed. You need to get the shot before April 23rd in order for it to be effective according to cashvalleydaily.com

If you are not familiar with Hepatitis A, it is a viral infection of the liver. It can cause severe stomach pain, jaundice, nausea, fatigue.

Symptoms usually only last about two months, but often times they are severe enough to warrant hospitalization.

No word on whether or not the passengers on that bus have been contacted or not regarding the matter.
