Beware Of Cannibals! One Idaho’s Scariest Legends Lives On…
When you think of urban legends in Idaho, you might think of the haunted Idaho penitentiary, Bigfoot (always a popular one), or you might ponder about the tunnels beneath Boise and their true purpose.
There's one Idaho legend that continues to live on and strike fear into the locals.
A Real Life "The Hills Have Eyes"?
In case you're unfamiliar, the horror movie "The Hills Have Eyes" shows us what happens if radiation from a bomb site affects a small group of people living in the mountains.
In this movie, which isn't for the faint of heart, we see deformed beings/mutated people hunt and terrorize unsuspecting travelers.
It sounds a lot like a legend about some mysterious creatures living in the mountains of Idaho. As a matter of fact, someone should make a horror movie about these creatures and as we found, there is plenty of source material.
For some reason, what makes this legend a bit creepier, at least to us, is that the creatures are described as being dwarves or small elves.
If you're like some of us, you might be thinking to yourself: "How is a small dwarf or elf going to get me? I'm much bigger than they are."
Don't worry - they come prepared.
Have you spotted anything unusual in the mountains? We would love to hear about it or see any proof you might have gathered here.
