The 3rd Mental Health Crisis Center has opened in the state. Here's where it is and who it can help.

The Twin Falls Behavioral Health Crisis Center has opened its doors. The state funded facility is open 24 hours a day to help people who are in a mental health or drug abuse crisis where they have no where else to go.

According to KTVB, anyone in need is welcome, but you can only stay at the center for a maximum of 23 hours and 59 minutes.

This is the closest Mental Health Crisis center to the Boise area. There is already a center in Coeur d'Alene and a center in Idaho Falls.

The hope is that people in need will end up here instead of in jail or a traditional hospital. Stress from the holidays and depression from cold, dark, winter months can put people in a dangerous mental state.

No one will be turned away and the Crisis Center is always open.
