Idaho Police Celebrate “The Best Smelling Traffic Stop”

We didn't know this but maybe you did - March 21st is "National Fragrance Day." Who would've thought, right? A day to celebrate... smells.

So, it's only fitting for one of Idaho's funniest police departments to capitalize on such a moment in a clever way.

"Felony Forest"

We've all heard of people traveling to Ontario, Oregon to get some of the devil's lettuce. With the number of people traveling to Oregon to get their fix, we have to imagine that police have seen some pretty creative ways in which people have tried to smuggle their goods into Idaho.

Police in Jerome shared a hilarious post showing just that - only they call it the "felony forest."

We don't know about you but "Jakob" looks way too happy to be receiving a citation for what's presumably possession.

But seriously - maybe multiple air fresheners aren't the best way to stay inconspicuous when transporting illegal items across state borders.

Either way, chalk another 'W' up for Jerome Police Department for being arguably the most fun follow on social media.

OH! And we can't forget to give Jakob his due as well. How many people can say they hold the title of "Best Smelling Traffic Stop" and have held that title for four years?
