Idaho Snowmobiler Dies of Exposure

After the Christmas celebration, the family of an Idaho snowmobiler is mourning his sudden and tragic death. 

The body of 58 year old Michael Mogard has been found today in the mountains northwest of Salmon, Idaho . He went missing yesterday and was found today. According to KBOI2, investigators say it appears he died of exposure.

With bone chilling temperatures, it doesn't take long for someone to die in the cold if they get lost or stranded.

It appears that is exactly what happened to Michael Mogard. His snowmobile was found around noon today and footprints led to his body.
