Lately, I've been thinking a lot about simple choices that we make every day and how they ultimately affect our lives. Leaving five minutes late, taking a different route, choosing to stay in or go out. Simple decisions cost this Emmett man his life and our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who is missing him.

58-year-old William Miller of Emmett was thrown from his motorcycle after failing to stop at a stop sign near the intersection of Burgland and Dewey roads south of Letha in Gem County according to KTVB. The accident happened Saturday morning.

Miller died from his injuries at the scene and his Harley was found in a field about 30-yards off the road. Unfortunately, he was not wearing a helmet.

Another Treasure Valley life taken tragically and another reminder of how precious this one life really is.
