As far as Idaho Mom's are concerned their top pick for Mother' day is Geraniums. The other question that comes to mind is how much should you spend and when it comes to gifts are store bought better than sentimental home made gifts? The survey answers these questions below:

Moms appreciate store-bought gifts more than homemade gifts, and the average American spends around $70 on presents for mom.
The most sought-after gift from moms was a gift of flowers and plants, while the most sought-after Mother’s Day experience was a night out with dinner and a movie.
